A Custom Employee Appreciation Song for Your Staff

The gift cards went out, the all-staff email went out, and by Thursday nobody remembers either one. A group email cannot say anybody's name out loud in front of everybody. That is the gap this fills.

This is a song about a crew, not about one person, and that changes what goes into it. You want the shift nobody sees, the openers who are in at four in the morning, the closers, the weekend on-call rotation. You want the running joke only your team would recognize, the label maker nobody else is allowed to touch, the machine somebody named years ago. And you want names, as many as will fit, because a name is the part of a thank you that cannot be mass sent.

Send us the roster, what the team actually does all day, three things they are known for, and the joke. We write and produce it from there. If you have forty names, say so, and we will find a way to carry them. Tell us which people go by something at work that is not what payroll has on file, because the work name is the real one and it is the one that belongs in a lyric.

Where it plays: the all-hands, the holiday party, the anniversary of the day you opened, or the ordinary Tuesday after a brutal quarter when somebody finally says thank you properly. There is a sample of this kind of track on this page.
